Made from natural materials; ceramic and cork the Emile Henry Salt Cellar prevents excess humidity and helps keep your salt (or sugar) from clumping together. Care instructions:
For the ceramic bowl:
- Dishwasher safe but we recommend washing by hand
- For stubborn residue, soak in hot water and white vinegar.
For the lid:
- The cork material is food-safe and will “age” well over time. It can be cleaned with a damp sponge, if needed, but should not be soaked in water
- Whilst cork has the ability to “breathe/absorb” some excess humidity from stored goods (and to release it subsequently), it is recommended to check for bruised fruits regularly to avoid excessive liquid leaking from ageing items. It also pays to avoid piling up heavier fruits on top of soft (skinned) fruits.

While we try to have most products in our store and warehouse at all times if the product is not in stock we will order from our New Zealand-based suppliers. We will contact you to advise you of this and inform you of any delivery delays.

Returns
Cookware makes returns easy by letting you return your purchase to us within 100 days for a full refund or exchange. All you have to do is get it back to us. Please note that for us to accept a return, the product just needs to be unopened, unused, undamaged and in the original packaging.
